Gallery

The Gallery at North Figueroa Bookshop is an art and event location based in the historic northeast Los Angeles neighborhood of Highland Park. The bookstore was founded in 2022 by Rare Bird and Unnamed Press, two local, independent book publishers. The Gallery opened in late 2025 as an annex to the bookshop, and serves as both a dedicated, 1000 square foot exhibition space as well as event hall for readings and performances. The Gallery partners with individual artists and organizations to curate accessible exhibitions and live programming. Read more about us at The Los Angeles Times.
